Publication Ethics

The “Xaverian Quintessence” (Multidisciplinary Research Journal) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct and academic integrity in all aspects of scholarly publishing. 1. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors / Co-Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal must ensure that:

• All sources are properly cited, and plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.

• Data presented in the manuscript are accurate, authentic, and honestly reported.

• All listed authors have made significant intellectual contributions to the research.

• Any conflict of interest (financial or non-financial) is clearly disclosed.

• Research involving humans or an animal complies with ethical standards and approvals.

2. Ethical Responsibilities of Editorial Board Members

Editors are responsible for:

• Making publication decisions based solely on the academic merit, originality, clarity, and relevance of the manuscript.

• Ensuring a fair, unbiased, and confidential peer-review process.

• Maintaining the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and reviewer identities.

• Preventing conflicts of interest and taking action against ethical misconduct.

• Addressing ethical complaints, retractions, or corrections when necessary.

3. Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to:

• Conduct reviews in an objective, constructive, and timely manner.

• Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript and review process.

• Identify relevant published work that has not been cited.

• Declare any conflict of interest and decline review if necessary.

• Avoid using unpublished material for personal advantage.

4. Plagiarism and Misconduct Policy

• All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.

• Plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, redundant publication, and unethical research practices are strictly prohibited.

• Manuscripts found violating ethical standards will be rejected or retracted, and authors may be barred from future submissions.

5. Peer Review Policy

• Reviewers and authors remain anonymous throughout the review process.

6. Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern
